BSS BOLSTERS GROWTH WITH COMMERCIAL RESTRUCTURE

A fifty percent increase in growth since 2004 has called for a restructure of BSS Industrial's Commercial Team to meet the increasing demands of its customers and branches.

The leading supplier of pipeline and heating solutions has experienced a phenomenal level of growth over the past four years, primarily in the heating and ventilation market. Coupled with its ambitious plans to continue in this direction and to establish itself in a number of new sectors, such as the industrial end-user market, the Company has completely reviewed how its Commercial Team operates.

The new set-up moves away from the previous flat reporting structure to a tiered approach, reflecting the demands of the business and allowing room for growth.

Sue Greatorex, Commercial Director, said: "BSS Industrial is evolving and we need to ensure the structures of our internal teams reflect the requirements of the customers we have, and those we are looking to attract.

"The Commercial Team is changing from a departmental set-up, to a structure which is centred around product categories. It now has dedicated roles supporting BSS' national branch network and has introduced a new management level, Category Directors to coordinate complementary product groups and identify routes for future development."

Lisa Wright and Andy Raine have been appointed as Category Directors. Both were previously Product Group Managers for BSS Industrial, and each bring a wealth of purchasing experience and commercial market knowledge to their respective roles.
