MANOR PLASTICS MAKES SERVICE FANTASTIC

Manor, the specialist plastics brand within BSS Industrial, has launched a new direct to customer service offering from its National Distribution Centre at Magna Park, Leicestershire.

This new offering provides customers with unrivalled access to stocks of products from George Fischer, Durapipe and Astore on a guaranteed next day by carrier delivery basis. Products stocked in depth include, PVCu, ABS, Polypropylene, Polyethylene. PVCc and PVDF, in addition actuation services and valve packages, including valve tagging, are built to customer requirements at Magna Park and delivered to customers throughout the UK.

The new direct to customer carrier service compliments the well established BSS branch network already familiar to customers, each branch can also deliver this new extended range on it's normal delivery fleet or have goods available for customers to collect at one of the 56 trade counters across the UK.

The new service offering is being supported by a team of four dedicated internal sales staff at the Manor National Sales Office in Sheffield and by five Regional Plastics Engineers who will be working with customers across the five geographical BSS Regions.

Paul Norton, Brand Sales Director for Manor Plastics, said: "Since our relocation to Sheffield and the development of internal and external specialist sales teams, we have been focusing on new market sectors such as the water treatment, food and beverage and chemical industries. We have seen a dramatic increase in the demand for plastic piping and noticed a significant gap in the market for a company who can provide a single solution on a local and national basis supported by expert knowledge.

Manor was launched four years ago and operates through a National Sales Centre in Sheffield. Manned by staff specialising in plastics, the Centre supports the BSS Industrial network.
