BSS INDUSTRIAL HITS CHARITY TARGET

BSS Industrial has reached its £50,000 target with Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, helping families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

Following its success, the leading distributor of pipeline and heating solutions has pledged to raise the same amount over the next 12 months.

With hundreds of fundraising activities under its belt, BSS Industrial has provided no less than 35 families with a much needed holiday at one of the Charity's two respite houses.

Frank Elkins, Managing Director of BSS Industrial, said: "Rainbow Trust is our first charity partner and to make such a difference to so many lives within a year is wonderful news. Everyone at BSS Industrial has done a great job, whether they hiked along the length of Hadrian's Wall, took part in "It's a Knockout" or sold charity badges on the trade counter. We are committed to raising another £50,000 over the next year and continuing the strong partnership we have built with the charity."

Heather Wood, Chief Executive at Rainbow Trust, added: "The enthusiasm of BSS Industrial staff has been overwhelming and we saw great contributions from all parts of the Company. Its fantastic news that this work will carry on for another year, raising more funds for a very worthy cause. Each year over 200 families stay at one of our respite homes and the funds raised by BSS Industrial will directly pay for around 35 families to do just that - we are very grateful."
